Ways of Getting Over a Fear
There are many different ways in getting over a fear. Some say writing them down, facing them and talking about them helps, but those are only someways that might work for some. Other ways include:
- Using humor to put your fears into perspective. Humor addresses the same issues as fear, not to dismiss them, but to strengthen our ability to confront them and then laugh them away. Laughter banishes anxiety and can help replace fear, it is a testament to courage and in which courage is stronger than fear.
- Eating foods with tryptophan, like nuts, cheese and turkey that relieves anxiety
- Use anything/anyone that can help relax you, like essential oils, or a favorite object or person
