Children's fear versus Adult's fears

The Most Common Fears in:
Children is the dark, ghosts, dogs/cats, thunder, clowns, monsters, witches, bugs, strangers, needle shots, teachers, boys/girls, being alone.
For Adults: Dying or someone important dying, exclusion, bankruptcy, getting shot, the future and life, embarrassment.

The contrast between the fears of children and adult are that adults are more afraid of 'reality'. What I mean is that adults are scared of situations that can affect them in real life whether its in the future or it has happened in the past. These fear tend to be more realistic whereas children are afraid of something that is non-existent or cannot do harm to them. Keep in mind, fears from childhood can definitely be carried onto adulthood, like W.L fear of bugs.
