I fear in becoming stuck, unable to move, trapped and unable to do anything. That is my ultimate fear. I don`t enjoy being around a crowd because i feel claustrophobic, i don`t enjoy being the center of attention either cause I get the feeling like I`m stuck, strangely I stay in my room most of the time that I`m home and prefer not to move around, i probably don`t realize my fear because I get distracted online. Even though I know that this fear is all in my head, I prefer being in an area with breathable air and distand away from people, not a far distance just, not so close. - (SM)

The only thing we have to fear is fear it'self - nameless, unreasoning, unjustified, terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance -FDR |

It tells real life stories about people overcoming fear.
Children's fear versus Adult's fears

Children is the dark, ghosts, dogs/cats, thunder, clowns, monsters, witches, bugs, strangers, needle shots, teachers, boys/girls, being alone.
Children is the dark, ghosts, dogs/cats, thunder, clowns, monsters, witches, bugs, strangers, needle shots, teachers, boys/girls, being alone.
For Adults: Dying or someone important dying, exclusion, bankruptcy, getting shot, the future and life, embarrassment.
The contrast between the fears of children and adult are that adults are more afraid of 'reality'. What I mean is that adults are scared of situations that can affect them in real life whether its in the future or it has happened in the past. These fear tend to be more realistic whereas children are afraid of something that is non-existent or cannot do harm to them. Keep in mind, fears from childhood can definitely be carried onto adulthood, like W.L fear of bugs.

W.L top 5 fears:
1. Bugs (especially centipedes. Why do they have so many legs!?!?!)
2. The dark
3. Mirrors
4. Washrooms (The mirrors and the noise of the toilet freaks me out at night)
5. Ghosts
My fear for bugs is pretty severe that I can't simply look at a video or image of it. It terrifies me although I know a picture of a bug cannot harm me. This has me thinking, why am I so afraid of something that cannot harm me? Its the same way how a child is scared of the dark or the boogie man. We try to teach children that monsters are only imaginary creatures yet they are still afraid of these non-existent monsters. I guess society's perception of these fears affects how we interpret them as well. I remember as a child, I was never afraid of bugs. The fear developed when my older sister was panicking over a small fly which then established my fear towards it too. The same applies for children and the boogie man. Stories and television delivers a negative message that the boogie man is dangerous. That can be one reason to why children are afraid of monsters.
Fear's worst enemy: Bravery
The counteractive emotion of fear is bravery; the knight in shining armor who saves you from the danger or that fear that was created. When one is courageous, they overcome their fear.

Getting Over a Fear
Ways of Getting Over a Fear
There are many different ways in getting over a fear. Some say writing them down, facing them and talking about them helps, but those are only someways that might work for some. Other ways include:
- Using humor to put your fears into perspective. Humor addresses the same issues as fear, not to dismiss them, but to strengthen our ability to confront them and then laugh them away. Laughter banishes anxiety and can help replace fear, it is a testament to courage and in which courage is stronger than fear.
- Eating foods with tryptophan, like nuts, cheese and turkey that relieves anxiety
- Use anything/anyone that can help relax you, like essential oils, or a favorite object or person

Keyhole.
Sitting in the passenger seat, i tried avoiding contact with him. He was just sitting there driving me to an unknown place, a place i have never been before, yet i bet he has been there many times. Hell. My father was taking me to meet my soon to be step-mother. I hated it. I hated the feeling, i hated her, i hated anything that was connected to her.
Dad told me she lived in a small town outside of Churchill, which was where we were from. The whole road trip i whined and tried making excuses, she didn't live right outside of town, more like she lived a whole world away. Dad kept telling me to grow up, and halfway through the trip i just shut him out.
When we arrived at the wicked witches town it was literally dead. I stopped my father from pulling me outside the car, and just sat in the car while he went down to talk with her. Coming back from her house he sat in the car and started driving us away.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"There's a motel a short distance away from town, since you are so grown up you could stay there alone while I see Margret." he replied.
I didn't care, the farther the better.
At the hotel dad checked me in and ran out in a hurry to go meet up with that ugly... yea.
The busboy took me to my room. He didn't say much and wouldn't reply to half my questions. The floor my room was located in was all newly furnished, it looked great except there was one room that still had an old wooden door. I asked the busboy about it, but all he told me was not to go in there, look in there or disturb anyone. What a deadbeat. I sat in my room that whole afternoon thinking about my father and it bothered me a lot. I needed air. I walked around the motel for a while when i got back to that wooden door, i had to look. I peeped into the keyhole and saw a figure, it was a tall lady with long black hair, she was facing a window sitting on a nice furnished bed.
I got up, and walked around and around the motel, no one seemed to be staying here but the lady i saw, the busboy and i. I stayed in my room trying to message my friends, but no one would reply. It was now getting late, but i wanted to see her again. I got out of my bed and slipped into the halls, no busboy. I peeped in the keyhole and this time all i could see was red, weird. I went back to sleep. The next morning i packed to go to back home, dad was waiting in the car with Margret. Once i got out the busboy helped me with my bag.
"Where is that lady?" I asked him.
Busboy looked at me with shock. "You looked!" he yelled.
"No, daa" I replied.
The busboy put my things in the car, and met back up with me in the lobby, he sat me down and whispered "They say she never leaves here, and shes waiting for something, they say she has long black hair, a pale face, and red eyes.
What is Fear?
Fear, Fear is a vital response to a physical and emotional danger-if we didn't feel it, we couldn't protect ourselves from legitimate threats. But often we fear situations that are far from life-or-death, and thus hang back for no reason. Traumas or bad experiences can trigger a fear response within us that is hard to quell. Yet exposing ourselves to our personal demons is the best way to move past them.
The Man in the Elevator
There was this 19 year old student named Liane, every night she comes home from university after a long day of studying. Coming home one night after finishing her project at the library it began raining and Liane was soaking wet. She ran to her apartment building and waited for an elevator. Liane lived on the 14th floor. Waiting for the doors to close she saw a handsome young man run into the building and held the elevator doors opened with his hands.
"You live on the 14th floor?" he asked seeing the button lit up.
"Yes" replied Liane.
"Oh", said the man smiling. "I live on the 13th."
As the elevator ascended, he pushed button 13.
Liane looked outside the windows of the elevator, trying not to make eye contact. She did glance at him a few times and yes, he certainly was handsome. He also glanced at her smiling and she wondered if he will ever think of going out with her, even though she was soaking wet.
They continued smiling at each other when the elevator stopped on the 13th floor.
"See you later" he said.
"Yes, see you" she replied.
He got off the elevator and as the doors of the elevator began closing he reached out a knife from his pocket and said in a menacing voice "Upstairs!"
Laughing like a maniac he ran towards the stairs as the elevators closed on Liane.
Terrified Liane began screaming and clicking all the buttons in the elevator.
Desperately trying to stop it, the elevator dinged. The elevator doors opened to the 14th floor, there the man with the knife, waiting for her.
